Nana is always asking for more pictures of the boys on my blog, so these two post are for her. First Trey. He will be turning 3 next month.

We recently moved him (really he moved himself) from the crib to a big bed. I was so worried at first. I piled every spare pillow in the house on the floor around him in case he rolled out. I need not of worried. He is a pro. But moving him from the crib to a bed made him seem sooo much older over night.

Here is Trey getting into trouble with his new buddy Riley. We spent the weekend with Riley and his family. When Riley drove away in his parents silver truck Trey started asking "Riley, are you?" now a week later he still occasionally asks where Riley is, especially when we see a silver truck go by.

Going for walks in the double stroller is one of the only times Trey will tolerate Smith touching him. They aren't buddies yet, but I hope someday they will play well together.

Trey LOVES bugs. Here he is holding two of his favorites. Worms and a millipede, or "pede". Other favorites include rolly polly bugs, flies, and ants. The other day we saw a huge, tight swarm of ants moving their nest. Trey picked them up by the handful just to watch them crawl through his fingers. Lucky the ants here don't bite.

Trey's other favorite things are cars, planes, trains, helicopters, motorcyles and trucks. Pretty much anything with wheels and a motor. I am seeing a possible future in engineering.

The most exciting news lately, for us anyway, is potty training. We still have a very long way to go, but with a lot of prompting and a lot of treats we are making some progress.

Trey is also a bit of a ladies man. First kiss, and he's not even 3 yet.
