Sweet Ride!

It's finally warm enough that Nate has brought out the motorcycles. Including the child size eclectic bike we have been saving for Trey. He is still only big enough to sit on it by himself. That probably would have been enough, but then Dad took him for a ride around the block and he LOVED it! If anyone knows where to find leather chaps in toddler sizes please let me know!

P.S. Nice socks Nate!

It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's a Boy!

Our biggest news of late, if you haven't heard already, is that we are expecting our second child. Today we found out it will be another boy. We are very excited that Trey is going to have a little brother to play with. I still feel like my mid-August due date is accurate, but the baby is already extra big. The nurse said he is measuring 10 days ahead of my due date. Trey was over 9 lbs. so it looks like I'm in for another big one.

Happy Easter!

Nate had to work on Easter, but we did get Mike, Dave and his girlfriend Emily to join us this year. Trey didn't really seem to have any real idea what was going on, but he does know what candy is! The highlight this year was probably the electric tooth brush the Easter Bunny brought him. I also tried to show him some real colored eggs that I had boild and decorated earlier. However he seemed to think they were bouncy balls and smashed them on the floor. Better luck next year.

Bringin' Home the Bacon

Literally! Nate went hunting with some of his work buddies a couple weeks ago in Idaho. He shot a wild pig with his trusty new black powder rifle. He was very proud of it and the head sat on our lawn as a kind of trophy for a week. Which is a week longer then I wanted it there. We finally got the meat back from the butchers yesterday. I was really apprehensive about trying it, but it was actually very tasty. Way to go Nate!
