Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day balloons for the boys, dinner at Carl's Jr Playground and chocolate strawberries and sparkling cider for Nate and me. Doesn't get much better then this. :)

Because I am just that kind of mom

Turns out a cake mix will make exactly two six-inch cakes and two jumbo cupcakes. And because I am just that kind of mom, I decorated one cake for each boy. Then we puts candles on them and pretended it was our birthdays. It's not the first time I have done this, and it won't be the last. You should try it!

Special Moment

Today while Trey was sitting on the toilet, doing what one does on the toilet, he turned to me and with great earnest said "I really love you mom!" Now that is special.
