Silly Trey, beds are for kids.

Trey likes to go to sleep on middle of the floor in a sleeping bag. We always let him and then move him to his bed once he is asleep. The other day this is what we found when we went to get him.

He's a really heavy sleeper and almost wakes up when we move him. And if he does, he's a good sport about it.

Fun with Nana and Papa

My boys had a lot of fun seeing their grandparents while they were in town.
Helping Nana do her hair
and snuggling with Papa to watch a movie.

The best part was probably swim in the pool at their hotel, twice. Alas, I have no pictures of that.

Catching up from Christmas part 2

Trey had been begging for Mario Kart for weeks. Santa brought it and we was SO excited. It was pretty rewarding to see considering how many stores Santa had visit to find it. However, that excitement lasted about 5 minutes into actually playing the game when he said "I don't like this one anymore" and hasn't wanted to play it since.

Can you spot the helicopter shaped blur? His excited over the helicopter seems to be just as short lived as his sons was. I guess that is where Trey gets it.
Smith giving "cheese" to the wrong person while showing off his Christmas treasures.
Dave and Emily, yeah. I am terrible at pictures, so I didn't get one of me or my parents who were also there for all the fun.

Catching up from Christmas part 1

I know I'm a little late, but I want to catch up from Christmas, for my own records.
This is actually from Christmas eve. I pulled all the toys in the house out, from the front room, basement, and the boys rooms. We went through everything, organized it, reunited long lost parts and chucked a bunch of it too. If was very productive, I think it will be a new Christmas Eve tradition.

My parents decided to come out for the holiday and in keeping with tradition we had a pie to celebrate Nana's Birthday on the 23rd. Like last year, we used a #1 candle to represent one year older. A lady never tells her age.
Here is a shot of the room before the boys got up.
And of the tree. Santa really out did himself this year. :)
Nate had to work Christmas day, so we shifted the festivities back a day to Christmas Eve. That meant we were able to have a my brother and his wife and my parents over to open presents in the morning. Santa left them stockings too.
