I'm greatful for good friends

I rarely remember to take pictures, and when I do it's not usually a 'kodak moment' so these are the only picture I have of Thanksgiving Dinner, and I am only posting it to prove we were there. :)

Nate was going to try to work overtime today, but didn't get it. So we had no dinner plans. Our friends, the Turner's, took pity on us and invited us over kind of last minute. And to be honest, I really recommend it. We had an absolutely fantastic meal, and I didn't have to do any work! It was awesome!!!

Dinner was delicious! We lounged around on the couches after we ate and relaxed while the kids played and watched a movie, Smith took a nap. Lovely! The night was perfect, until we tried to leave. I picked up Smith and almost immediately he started puking, everywhere!

Dinner really was amazing. Thank you thank you! And please Laura, send me the bill for the carpets!

Fort

Check out the sweet fort we made in the basement today!
It was so much fun that Trey eventually passed out in there.

Having Fun at home

Trey loves to take pictures! usually it is of the ceiling fan or the inside of the cereal box. This time he got me showing off my sad face and happy face.

The boys built a fort out of my sofa.


I was kind of surprised to see a Lady Bug alive so late in the year, but maybe that is why it moved into the house. Smith was fascinated.

Big Shoes

Trey wanted to try on Nate's new snowboard boots. He could hardly walk around with one. We haven't tried both yet.Smith also loves to wear shoes and socks. Shoes are still kind of against the rules inside our house, but I made an exception for him. If he finds a new pair shoes laying around, or stored safely away on the third shelf of the closet, he'll bring them to me and insist on wearing them. These are his big brothers socks and shoes (only 4 sizes too big for him)

At least they are getting along. :)
