Yesterday Trey got tubes put in his ears. Our doctor recommended them last March to treat his "chronic" ear infections. But said we could wait and see if he did better as the weather warmed up. He got another one in April and again last week, so we decided to go ahead with it. They had to put him under completely so we had to take him to the hospital. After we checked in he ran around for more then an hour playing with everything and pushing the nurse call button several times. Poor thing had no idea what was coming.

The surgery was very quick! They took him away and brought him back in less then 20 minutes to recover. He was pretty drowsy and very ornery at first, but in about 15 minutes he was back to his normal self and ready to go home. Hopefully this will due the trick
This was taken after he can back. He didn't cry nearly as much as the other kids in the recovery area. He's a real trooper.
