Later that night we got together with our neighbors for our other Independents Day tradition, Cul-de-Sac of Fire! Basically we just have a neighborhood BBQ and let off fireworks. Trey had a great time until the fireworks started. After that it was hard to tell. He wanted to see what was going on, and wouldn't go inside, but he also refused to be put down and held my hands over his ears the whole time. At one point he notice Nate lighting fireworks and got really upset until he stopped and held him. I'm not sure if he just wanted Dad, or didn't like him playing with fire, but he didn't seem to mind when I was lighting fireworks.

Julie you look so cute pregnant! I really wish we could have been at the cabin with you all. Maybe next year.
Sounds like so much fun! Bristol isn't so sure of the fireworks either. He sits on someones lap the whole time. But he holds his own hands over his ears, even during the quiet ones. Kids are fun!
